BUNGALOW CONVERSION & COMPLETE REFURBISHMENT PROJECT
Suffolk Creations' first project in 2015 was a derelict bungalow...
Before
The dated, 1960's bungalow had sadly fallen into disrepair. It stood in a sought after location but appeared out of place in comparison to the neighbouring properties. There was however no doubting it's potential to be transformed into what could be a beautiful family home.
Ideas became reality and with the help of a local architect, planning consent was granted and the hard work to bring the property back to life began....
With the intention of keeping the original footprint of the property, internal walls were removed in order to open spaces and allow the natural light to flood in. Three bedrooms, (one with en-suite) and a family bathroom were all installed on the newly designed upper floor, and on the lower floor a beautiful, large open plan kitchen/family living area was created. The property also now had space for a separate utility room, downstairs w/c and a home office. Every space was used to its full potential and even the former outdoor workshop outside was transformed into a fully heated functional "games room" for all to enjoy.
After just 7 months, the transformation was complete and a new family promptly moved in, proudly calling the chalet bungalow their home!
